Exploria Resorts President and CEO Responds to Coronavirus Exploria Resorts swiftly responded to the Coronavirus pandemic in early March, daily monitoring updates from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in order to provide exceptional vacation experiences during this time of abundant caution. Throughout all the resorts across Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Missouri, Exploria Resorts staff have taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous including:• Teams are wearing face masks to help keep everyone safe and healthy.• Upon arrival, We Care Kits are distributed to families for use at their discretion. The kits include face masks and hand sanitizer packets.• Front Desk locations are regularly wiping all common area elements down with disinfectant wipes as guests pass through the lobby.• Following state and local mandates, in-restaurant dining is offered where applicable. Take Out and Delivery service remains available. Tables and chairs have been properly distanced to 6' apart. Where applicable, barstools have been moved 6' apart for social distancing.• Housekeeping staff is disinfecting all door handles, railings, elevators, and hard surfaces with hospital-grade agents.• Housekeeping has been suspended during vacation stay and will take place at the time of guest check out. Resupply of linens and other unit items are available as requested.• Housekeeping is cleaning all guest units with hospital-grade chemicals after each guest check out.• Hand sanitizing stations have been installed in all guest high traffic areas as well in essential areas on property.• Where applicable, Resort Shuttle team is sanitizing the van after each guest exits.• All recreation outlets are cleaning all returned items with hospital grade disinfectant. This includes games, pool sticks, basketballs, tennis rackets, and miniature golf equipment.• Pool decks are open based on appropriate occupancy levels to keep social distancing in place.• Where applicable, after each guest usage, life vests are dipped into a disinfecting solution and hung dry. Each jet ski is wiped down with a disinfecting agent.• Where applicable, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, complimentary breakfast buffets at hotels have been temporarily closed. Medical Doctors from Advent Health Centra Care Visit Summer Bay Orlando Recently, Advent Health Centra Care medical doctors Dr. Timothy Hendricks, Medical Director, Centra Care and Dr. Evan D. Lowe, MD, M.P.H. Occupational & Environmental Medicine Specialist visited Summer Bay Orlando where they toured the 400 acre resort. Joining them were Chief Human Resources Officer David Bronsweig, Resort Operations VP Cheryl Bellacicco, Resort Operations Director, Tanya Joyce, and Recreation Manager, Kyle Burger to observe first-hand the safety measures put in place to keep guests at the Orlando flagship resort safe from the spread of Covid-19 while on vacation.
